L.L.Bean
L.L.Bean has been delivering classic functional styles, outdoor gear and expert advice for over 100 years. Founded in 1912 by fisherman and hunter Leon Leanwood Bean in Freeport, Maine, just down the road from the original store. L.L.Bean began by selling the Maine Hunting Shoe which was a waterproof boot combining leather uppers and rubber bottoms to hunters, also called duck boots and later known as Bean Boots.
